Husband remains amazingly calm in face of abusive rant in Aldi as screaming woman brands wife's niqab 'disgusting'

This is the moment a couple remain amazingly calm in the face of an abusive rant by a woman in Aldi, as she brand the wife’s niqab “disgusting”.

The shocking scene unfolded as a couple queued at the check-out to pay for their goods, before a woman in an opposite aisle begins leaning towards them and screaming.

She starts her tirade by repeatedly saying the word “disgusting” as she peers towards the couple at the Feltham branch in West London.

The husband can then be heard calmly asking her whether she thinks “freedom of choice is disgusting”.

He then tells her that he “thinks her attitude is disgusting” as she responds “no” before telling him that “you should not allow your wife to go around like that”.

The woman leans towards the couple during her shocking rant

At another point, she is filmed pointing aggressively towards them

The wife begins to interrupt by telling the woman “why should he be my boss, he’s not my boss.”

While still remaining calm, the husband says the ranting woman should educate herself, before she responds by asking him if he knows the Quran.

She said: “Your supposed to be a peaceful bloody person.”

The husband tells the woman that she is the one who is speaking with “disrespect”.

She then points at the wife to tell her “you shouldn’t be around like that, you look like a bloody pillar box.”

She can be seen shouting “disgusting” towards the couple

The woman was eventually told to calm down by a person believed to be a member of staff

Sticking up for his wife, the husband says it is her choice to be dressed like that as the woman shouts “disgusting, absolutely disgusting”.

The husband responds by telling her that “your attitude is disgusting” before she once again points at his wife and says “that is disgusting and should be banned.”

The video, which last for almost two minutes, starts to come to an end with the woman telling the husband to educate himself as he tells her “you should be a comedian.”

Another man’s voice, believed to be an Aldi employee, is heard before the footage stops, asking the woman to calm down “otherwise you are going to get banned”.

Footage was uploaded to Facebook this morning by a friend of the couple’s and has since been viewed thousands of times.

Aldi declined to comment on the incident.
