Despite challenges, Louise, a rescue canine, finds peaceful, loving home; send us your animal rescue stories

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — My name is Chelsea Sadinski, my (now) husband, Bob, and I rescued our dog Louise about two years ago from Canine Lifeline. She was rescued from a hoarding situation in Kentucky originally, adopted by a family for two years and then unfortunately returned because she didn’t get along well with their other dog.

Louise is very skittish still, doesn’t really know how to play but is making progress! Her main hobbies include: sleeping, eating, and going on walks, she loves to sniff everything. Louise is my shadow. She follows me everywhere and was even at our recent wedding. We hope she has a good rest of her life and doesn’t remember the pain she was put through before.

She has definitely changed our life for the better, and feels right at home. The very first thing she did when we brought her home was jump on our bed. We are moving to a new home, with wood floors (that she is afraid of) so I’m not sure how she will like it at first, but I hope in time she will adjust.

We couldn’t imagine life without Louise now.
