Carol Burnett returning to TV as host of kids' talk show for Netflix

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Carol Burnett, one of TV’s comedy darlings, is returning to the medium.

The legendary comedienne is pairing up with Netflix to co-host “A Little Help With Carol Burnett,” a kids’ talk show, according to Variety.  

This original unscripted series will feature Burnett, along with celebrity guests who receive advice from a group of children who range in age from 4 – 8. “A Little Help With Carol Burnett,” will be filmed in front of a live studio audience.

“We’re thrilled Carol is bringing her unique sensibilities to Netflix,” said Bela Bajaria, vice president of content acquisition for Netflix. “Carol is truly a legend in the entertainment industry with unprecedented success and fandom across TV, film and the stage, and we are both honored and excited to work with her.”

“The Carol Burnett Show,” ran for 11 seasons on CBS, from 1967-1978. The sketch comedy show also featured the talents of Vicki Lawrence, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway and Lyle Waggoner.
