An over-eager raver received a solid boot in the blls at TRNSMT festival after taking his dance moves too far.
The reveller was caught on camera copping one in the privates when an attempted routine with a female fan swiftly back-fired.
After receiving the painful blow in the nether regions the festival goer fell to the floor in agony, much to the delight of the gathering crowd.
It was a cautionary tale for those would-be Romeos getting ready to approach a new dance partner.
Perhaps he should have stuck to the Glaswegian tradition of asking “Are ye dancin’?”, first?
The incident appears to have done little to dampen the carnival atmosphere at TRNSMT, which has been heralded as an instant success by organiser Geoff Ellis.
Just eight arrests have been made across the weekend, with fans generally giving positive reviews about the debut event.
Ellis said: “This has been a hugely successful debut year for TRNSMT and I’d like to thank everyone for welcoming the festival into their hearts with such enthusiasm.
“The energy has been incredible and we’ve enjoyed some stunning performances against the beautiful Glasgow skyline.
“As TRNSMT becomes a firm favourite in the festival calendar, people will look back on this first year with the knowledge that they supported it and helped it grow right from the beginning.
“We’re already planning for 2018 so watch this space for future transmissions.”
